Success Story Details:

Transport Canada is a governmental agency that develops and administers policies, regulations and services to ensure safe, secure, efficient, affordable, integrated and environmentally friendly transportation systems for Canada and Canadians.

The agency engaged Cyrulean to implement a bilingual planning and reporting solution to be accessable to a nationwide community of more than 250 users. Cyrulean's response was to develop an OFA planning system that utilizes a GL Link, and both a standard and customized web interface over Citrix.

Working with TC's chosen reporting tool (Business Objects), Cyrulean designed the system to meet some highly specific criteria - including hourly aggregations of 7 dimensional data, and a nightly rebuild of entire 8-year historical database.

Now, with the system in place, a diverse and geographically dispersed work force can post plans and projections in near real time and with access to accurate and up to date information.
